All Apple Island Soaps are hand-crafted in small batches to ensure that each one is fresh and unique. After they are cut, they are cured in a warm, dark place for six weeks. Soap is like wine or cheese – it gets better with age, so even though they are cured for a long time, they’re ready to use when you buy them, they will continue to get harder (and therefore last longer) as they get older. Keep these soaps well-drained and they will last a long time.
